It was not so simple to find a Spanish forum. I am a man 22 years old from Rome in Italy and I am trying to tell to as many people as possible something more about the polithical situation that involves our country. I apologize because I am forced to write in English.
Probably you heard about the Gypsy camp burned some days ago. This was not a lonely episode of violence and it will not be the last.
Unfortunately our "new" government is composed for a relevant part by the members of the anti-immigrants "Northern League" party, which is the xenophobic party for excellence, with the ultraright-wing and extra-parliamentar parties.
Italian people are as much xenophobic as you are Spanish. I am not joking. The Northern League party is known very well here. Mr. Bossi (the leader) approved a law in collaboration with Mr. Fini (the leader of the very right-wing "National Ally" party) some years ago, to authorize the Italian Military Naval Force to fire to desperates' boats coming to Italy. The Military Naval Force refused to apply the law.
Now they are trying to modify the Schengen Law, but the EU stopped them. Even the most relevant part of the workers in the heavy industry are foreigners, the Northern League (as the filo-fascist "Social Action" party, commanded by Alessandra Mussolini, nephew of Benito Mussolini the fascist) party says that "illegal immigrants" must be sended away. When they talk about "illegal immigrants" they cover their real aim: to purify the Italian nation and then separate the North from the South.
Here we have many other problems but I can clearly see a denigratory campaign against Romanian, Balkans and African people. For example, you can daily hear from the news that "a lonely woman was raped and killed by a drunk Romanian" or "a gang of Romanians was catched early this morning" etc. ... If the same thing happened to an Italian, you probably will hear something like this "a woman was raped and killed by an unidentified man" or "a man has killed another man with his car tonight.. PROBABLY he is a balkanians or Romanian man" (and they do not know his identity).
The other side of the medal shows to me our Parliament in which there are nearly 70 criminals, already condamned for corruption and various crimes or waiting for a process. Some of them became politicians in order to gain the right to not be processed (in Italy we call it "Parliamentary Immunity") like Mr. Totò Cuffaro, the ex-governor of the Sicily Region, investigated because he financed mafia. He just became part of the Parliament, so he cannot be processed more. How smart!!!
So, as you can see Italy is a place with many contraddictions inside its own population and (not last) there is the Roman Church, which influences both polithical and economic choices of many managers and politicians.
Oh, I was forgetting.. In Naples there is a "VERY" large amount of garbage on the streets, you surely heard about it.
So, this issue is not recent. This issue involves the whole Campania Region since many many years. Naples people took money to let criminals put toxic garbage under their terrain, also with the help of Gypsy children, who also died without anyone raising his head. Now Naples terrain is full of toxic garbage, people die by cancer and the garbage removal service is controlled by criminals too. So it is very simple to reach the right conclusion, or not?
The fascism is rising again here in Italy and we need that other countries know the truth about the polithical system.
